The Creative Mind: Online Improvisation Workshop

The Creative Mind is a weekly, 90-minute drop-in online improvisation workshop for up to six people. It's a space to explore story together—telling, shaping, and co-creating narratives in real time.

We’ll work with a simple method: physical and emotional relaxation, paired with emotionnal and intellectual stimulation.

That combination helps us stay open, alert, and ready for the unexpected. We’ll follow the creative power of serendipity - those strange, lucky moments when something surprising just fits. Instead of pushing ideas, we’ll practise deep listening. Not just words, but to rhythm, gesture, and feeling. Listening like this helps us move together. It lets stories appear that no one could have made alone.

This kind of work needs a light touch. We’ll practise getting things wrong, without worry. Mistakes are often the moment everything shifts.

The Creative Mind is about noticing those shifts, and following them. It’s not about control or polish. It’s about presence, trust, and surprise.

The class will be led by the course's creator, Remy Bertrand, an improvisation facilitator with over 10,000 hours of teaching experience. Remy has been teaching internationally since 2006 through his company Imprology, as well as in drama schools, universities, and other institutions. He brings a playful, exploratory approach to improvisation, focusing on pleasure, curiosity, and courage.
